There are many governement funding opportunities available to those in need of assistance. Find out if you qualify for assistance by visiting any of the organizations below.


Our wheelchair and scooter lifts and ramps are eligible for reimbursement under the terms of the various mobility programs offered by GM, Subaru, Ford, Chrysler and Volkswagen. These programs were established to provide cash payments to disabled drivers for the installation of adaptive equipment in any new vehicle, whether it is purchased outright or leased. Customers have received rebates for multifold wheelchair ramps being used to load wheelchairs into vans as well as permanently mounted van ramps. Funding Resources for Vehicle Modifications

Vocational Rehabilitation –

Every state has a vocational rehabilitation agency that is designed to help individuals with disabilities meet their employment goals. Vocational rehabilitation agencies assist individuals with disabilities to prepare for, obtain, maintain, or regain employment.

Medicaid Waiver –

Medicaid Waivers help provide services to people who would otherwise be in a nursing home or hospital to receive long-term care in the community. Although there are waivers for many conditions, the focus is toward waivers for people who have intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and autism.


U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs –

The Automobile Adaptive Equipment (AAE) program permits physically challenged persons to enter, exit, and/or operate a motor vehicle or other conveyance.

Disabled Veteran Benefits by State –

A comprehensive list of current veteran benefits by state, which includes those that specifically help veterans living with disabilities.


CHIVE Charities –

Targets three specific causes: rare medical diagnoses, first responders & veterans, and special education initiatives.

National Organization for Vehicle Accessibility –

Awarded applicants will receive up to 25% of the cost of the mobility product with a cap of $5,000.


Association of Assistive Technology Act Programs

Alternative Finance Programs which provide affordable financing options for the purchase of assistive technology devices and services.


ABLE Account –

Tax-advantaged savings accounts for individuals with disabilities and their families. Contributions to the account made by any person (the account beneficiary, family and friends) will be made using post-taxed dollars and will not be tax-deductible, although some states may allow for state income tax deductions for contribution(s) made to an ABLE account.
